Chiroulet's estate Armagnacs
Sweet treat and elegance,
Philippe Fezas produces white and red wines on limestone lands, Ténarèze, in the heart of Armagnac.
The estate also has the tradition of distilling in December scented eaux-de-vie made from white Ugni grapes and colombard harvested from its family lands.
He markets two Armagnacs:
An assembly of reserves from 8 to 15 years keeping the spirit very classic and more full-bodied, which is aged in 400 liters of oak and in wood vats in century-old oaks.
It reveals notes of licorice and roasted coffee in a very assertive style.
A vintage Armagnac from the same harvest is proposed depending on the years and after a long period of maturity.
The 1982 vintage is a treat. With his old gold dress.
Its mouth is full of elegance, it reveals a floral and tasty finish.
